
Ecological Worker Awareness and Compliance Curriculum
Our curriculum provides restoration laborers, equipment operators and other trade workers with a background in ecological concepts, an overview of environmental laws, an understanding of federal and state resource agencies, and an appreciation for the importance of working within permitting constraints.
Developed by experts in ecological restoration, the curriculum can be delivered in English or Spanish via our skilled trainers. The training advances the comprehension of why environmental regulations are in place, enables informed on-site decision making and permit compliance, and improves project outcomes.
THE 10 HOUR IN PERSON TRAINING & CERTIFICATE INCLUDES:
Cultural context and connections to Traditional Ecological Knowledge
Ecological context, including a primer on ecosystems and ecosystem restoration.
Environmental laws with an emphasis on who oversees them why they matter to us and our work
